The challenge
A paint range is a search problem before it is a display problem. Colour ranges, finishes and technical information all had to be reachable by two audiences who arrive looking for different things — a customer matching a shade, and a dealer checking a specification.
The thinking
The catalogue had to be organised around the way people search it rather than the way the range is manufactured. Once that structure was settled, most of the interface questions answered themselves.
The approach
Product information restructured so colour ranges, finishes and technical detail sit where each audience expects to find them.
A catalogue that carries the full range without turning navigation into a chore.
The same structure carried into the app, so the catalogue works away from a desk.
What we built
- Product catalogue across web and app
- Information architecture for colour ranges, finishes and technical data
- Display templates that hold the range as it grows
Scope: Web + App — product display & information.
The result
- A catalogue customers and dealers can navigate without being walked through it.
- Product information that stays structured as new ranges are added.
Measured performance data for this engagement is not published. Where we have client-approved figures, they appear here as numbers.

The work that goes best is the work we were asked about early, while the problem is still being named.
